After bringing his son to the ER, Jason Aldean posts a health update.

On Tuesday, Jason Aldean revealed on his Instagram story that his son, Memphis, had to go to the ER for the first time. Memphis, on the other hand, is doing well.

“Lil man went to the ER for the first time today,” Aldean captioned his post. “I only needed two stitches and handled it like a champ,” he says. “I’m back home and rockin’.”

Brittany Aldean’s Instagram story was updated: “Our day took a turn when Mems fell at the pool.. two stitches under his chin and our official first trip to the E.R. Thank you for providing such wonderful nurses and one exceptional doctor. He’s doing fantastically well, but Mama’s heart isn’t.”

After purchasing a new home in Florida, the Aldean family reportedly enjoys beach life. The reigning iHeartRadio Music Awards Country Song of the Year (for “If I Didn’t Love You,” his powerful breakup duet with Carrie Underwood), has shared a few photos, including one with Memphis and his sister, Navy.

“We got Memphis a metal detector because he’s on a pirate treasure hunt!” Aldean wished him luck on his journey in one caption. “Nothing makes me happier as a Beach guy than seeing my babies love the water,” Aldean wrote alongside another photo of his “beach babies.” Take a look at the adorable photos below:

“Extra’s” Jenn Lahmers spoke with Jason recently, and he gushed about his family, revealing that they are his inspiration.

“My family, my wife, and my children inspire me, and I just want to leave them this cool legacy,” he said. “You know, when all of this is done, I want to leave them with this musical legacy that they will have forever.”

Jason and Brittany have a 3-year-old son named Navy, and he has two daughters from a previous relationship, Keeley, 19, and Kendyl, 14.
