NCIS Season 22 | Explosive Mark Harmon News Update!!!

Mark Harmon has been spotted out and about, and the NCIS star looked almost unrecognizable ahead of his role in Freaky Friday 2. The actor, known for playing Leroy Jethro Gibbs on the CBS crime drama, kept it casual amid a major heatwave in Los Angeles. Harmon, 72, donned a red button-down shirt and dark-colored shorts as he headed to grab groceries. Wearing flip-flops and squinting against the sunny streets, he sported shaggy gray hair and carried something in his hand. No one accompanied him on his trip to the celebrity hotspot Erehwon Market.
Harmon’s sighting came just days before his casting in Freaky Friday 2 was confirmed. Disney released the first behind-the-scenes photo from the Freaky Friday 2 set on Monday, featuring Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis sitting in front of their trailers holding hands. Jamie, 65, held her free hand up in a rock and roll gesture while Lindsay, 37, smiled sweetly. Filming on the highly anticipated sequel has begun, with the actresses reprising their roles as Anna and Tess Coleman.

Few details about the plot have been released at this time, but fans do know that Anna will have a daughter in the film as well as a soon-to-be stepdaughter. The film’s official synopsis reads, “Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.” Disney has confirmed that the film will hit theaters in 2025. The original Freaky Friday, which grossed $160 million worldwide, was released in 2003.

Jamie, Lindsay, and Mark aren’t the only stars returning to the film. Chad Michael Murray, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Steven Tobolowsky, and Rosalind Chao will also reprise their roles. New cast members include Julia Butters, Manny Jacinto, Mira Rajput, Krishan Chauhan, and Sophia Hammond.

Lindsay and Jamie began teasing a Freaky Friday revival in 2023, but Disney did not announce that a sequel was in the works until March 2024. While many fans are simply excited that Freaky Friday 2 is happening, others are eager to see specific stars return to the project. Chad’s return, in particular, has been a hot topic among fans. After the announcement, several supporters exclaimed on social media, “We won, that’s important for fans.” Another wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Wow, that’s unexpected. I didn’t think he’d come back for a sequel.” A third posted, “Love to see him back,” while a fourth added, “So happy!”
