Fans Rally to Save NCIS: Tony & Ziva After Shock Cancellation

The cancellation of NCIS: Tony & Ziva came as a major surprise – and fans aren’t taking it quietly.

Within hours of Paramount+ pulling the plug after just one season, devoted “Tiva” fans mobilized to prove the show deserves another chapter. Fundraisers were launched, social media campaigns took off, and even a billboard in Manhattan became part of the effort to save the beloved spinoff.

The series followed Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) on the run after Tony’s security firm was compromised – juggling danger, co-parenting their daughter, and emotions they clearly couldn’t outrun. Fans quickly embraced the mix of action, romance, and nostalgia.

One fan-led GoFundMe raised more than $3,000 in just days. The campaign even caught Weatherly’s attention, who responded warmly on X:

“This made me smile – maybe even nudged my tear ducts… I see you. I appreciate you. Big kiss for 2026.”

Despite being framed as a limited series, many viewers believe Tony & Ziva had the depth and chemistry to last for multiple seasons. The show consistently ranked in Paramount+’s Top 10 and offered longtime NCIS fans a fresh yet familiar story.

In a joint statement following the cancellation, Weatherly and de Pablo thanked fans for supporting the “next chapter” of Tony and Ziva’s journey – and for finally getting to see the couple’s long-awaited happy ending.

For now, the future of Tony & Ziva remains uncertain. But one thing is clear: the passion of the fandom is still very much alive – and they’re not ready to say goodbye just yet. ❤️
