Sasha Alexander Joins DiNozzo & Ziva Actors in New NCIS Spinoff Pics!

Ahead of their NCIS spinoff, Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo have reunited with original franchise actor Sasha Alexander. Despite the recent cancellation of NCIS: Hawai’i, the NCIS universe remains strong with new spinoffs on the horizon. One of these is NCIS: Tony & Ziva, featuring Weatherly and de Pablo as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, which will stream on Paramount+ instead of airing on CBS.

In preparation for their return, Weatherly and de Pablo are hosting a rewatch podcast called Off Duty: An NCIS Rewatch. Sasha Alexander recently appeared on the podcast, and the trio shared heartwarming reunion photos on Alexander’s Instagram.

The podcast features Weatherly and de Pablo discussing the series with various guests from the franchise, both past and present.

Can Sasha Alexander’s Kate Todd Still Make Appearances in the NCIS Universe?

Nearly two decades after Kate Todd’s tragic death in the NCIS season 2 finale, her character was reintroduced in NCIS’ 1000th episode using archive material. Despite this, Sasha Alexander’s return remains possible.

NCIS has a history of bringing Alexander back post-Kate’s death. Following her character’s death at the hands of Ari, Alexander appeared in the first two episodes of season 3 as projections. She could reprise her role as a hallucination if NCIS season 22 decides to bring her back.

Moreover, Alexander might participate in other capacities, such as directing episodes of the upcoming NCIS: Tony & Ziva. She previously directed an episode of Michael Weatherly’s Bull and shares a positive relationship with Cote de Pablo. If she directs an episode, it will mark her first official involvement with NCIS since leaving the show.
