Back in February, CBS confirmed the renewal, but Wilmer put his own fun spin on the announcement. Sharing a behind-the-scenes video from his last day of filming, the actor joked with co-stars Katrina Law and Sean Murray about not needing to come back to work the next day.

“That’s a wrap on season 22 🥲,” he captioned the March 27 Instagram post. “See you next season!”

Fans flooded the comments with excitement about the show’s return. “Enjoy the break, you guys! Bring on the last episodes of Season 22 and Season 23!” one wrote. Another added, “So happy we have S23 to look forward to. It’s going to be a long summer wait!”
