NCIS: Tony & Ziva Season 2: Cote de Pablo Reveals Why She’d ‘Absolutely Do It Again’

NCIS fans are buzzing with excitement! NCIS: Tony & Ziva has dropped its first three episodes on Paramount+, giving viewers a thrilling return to the beloved characters Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo brought to life. Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David are back on the screen, and fans couldn’t be happier.

The new spinoff has quickly gained traction, sparking speculation about whether the series could be renewed for a second season. While official word hasn’t been announced yet, Cote de Pablo recently shared her thoughts with TV Insider about the possibility of returning for Season 2.

Reflecting on her experience reprising the role of Ziva, Cote described Season 1 as a “dream.”

“It was so much fun to go back and revisit these characters,” she said in the September 7 interview. “Where this goes, we know not. All we know is that we had to do this. Michael and I felt we owed it to the fans. And so we’re really happy about this just being able to happen. We manifested it.”

Both Cote and Michael are clearly thrilled to dive back into the NCIS universe, and fans are loving every moment of it. But does this mean a second season is on the table? Cote gave fans a hopeful but cautious answer, calling it a “never say never” scenario.

“We’re just grateful that we got a chance to do it, and the rest is the rest,” she explained. “If we got a chance to do it again, we’d be thrilled.”

In NCIS: Tony & Ziva, the dynamic duo is now raising their young daughter, Tali (Isla Gie), in Paris. But when Tony’s security company is att4cked, the family is forced to go on the run to clear their names. Along the way, Tony and Ziva must confront old wounds from their long, complicated history-a relationship that’s been full of ups and downs since they first met in NCIS Season 3.

With the storylines heating up and both Michael and Cote invested in their roles, fans have plenty to look forward to-and maybe, just maybe, a second season isn’t far off. One thing’s for sure: seeing Tony and Ziva back in action has been a dream come true for viewers everywhere.
