‘NCIS: Tony & Ziva’ Photos, Trailer: Tiva Heats Up in Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo Spinoff

We’re getting closer to seeing Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo on our screens as Tony and Ziva again, with their NCIS spinoff set to debut on Paramount+ in September.

And at San Diego Comic-Con, the streaming service unveiled a new trailer (which you can watch above) quite a few photos from NCIS: Tony & Ziva, which offer a look at the couple with their daughter Tali (Isla Gie), Tony’s private security company and the new players joining them, and more. And while there are a few glimpses of sweet family moments, there are some a couple of photos that have us worried about what’s coming their way. See the photos below.

NCIS: Tony & Ziva will premiere on Thursday, September 4, with the first three episodes. The rest of the 10-episode series will roll out weekly on Thursdays, with the finale set for October 23.

The new series picks up after the ex-NCIS agents reunited in Paris off-screen; Ziva was thought to be dead for a time, during which Tony found out they had a daughter and left the agency to raise her. “Since then, Tony and Ziva have been raising their daughter, Tali, together,” according to the official description. “When Tony’s security company is attacked, they must go on the run across Europe, try to figure out who is after them and maybe even learn to trust each other again so that they can finally have their unconventional happily ever after.”

Some things never change, as the new trailer shows. Yes, Tony and Ziva are broken up, and no, they’re not getting back together, they both stress when Tali asks when the family sits down for breakfast. But what is the dal with them?

“No deal. We used to chase bad guys together, now we share this incredible child, and that’s it,” Ziva says at one point.

But the two do work well together, as we see when they go on the run, fugitives from Interpol and forced to separate from their daughter. “We’re like a modern day Bonnie and Clyde with better snacks,” Tony says. Watch the video above for more, including a look at the action, romance (Tiva is heating up!), Tony in a tux and Ziva in a wedding dress, and much more.

“I think Tony and Ziva have a similar new fact pattern that has emerged in the show. Tony & Ziva should really be called Tony & Ziva & Tali because their priority now, both of them, is Tali, not themselves or each other—of course, couples get into their petty business, but I think the dynamic that emerges is going to be a really brand new one,” Weatherly told us in June 2024.

NCIS: Tony & Ziva stars, in addition to Cote de Pablo, Michael Weatherly, and Isla Gie, Amita Suman, Maximilian Osinski, Lara Rossi, Nassima Benchicou, Terence Maynard, Julian Ovenden, and James D’Arcy.

John McNamara serves as showrunner. The series is executive produced by McNamara, de Pablo, Weatherly, Laurie Lieser, Christina Strain, Shelley Meals, and Mairzee Almas. The series is produced by CBS Studios.
