CBS Renews ‘Tracker,’ ‘Elsbeth,’ ‘Fire Country,’ and ‘NCIS’ for New Seasons

CBS is doubling down on its hit dramas, renewing TrackerElsbethFire Country, and all three NCIS series for new seasons. The network also recently ordered full seasons of Matlock and announced two spinoffs: Sheriff Country, a Fire Country offshoot starring Morena Baccarin, and Boston Blue, a Blue Bloods spinoff featuring Donnie Wahlberg.

While the original FBI series is locked in through 2026-2027, there’s no word yet on FBI: Most WantedFBI: InternationalThe Equalizer, or Watson.

“These renewals highlight CBS’s leadership in delivering top-tier dramas with broad appeal,” said CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach.

CBS also shared impressive viewership stats: Tracker leads with 18 million multi-platform viewers, Elsbeth draws 11 million, and Fire Country has surged 43% year over year to 10.6 million. NCIS remains strong with 10.4 million viewers, while NCIS: Origins and NCIS: Sydney pull in 9.2 million and 7 million, respectively.
