24% of NCIS Fans Have An Interesting Choice For the Least Likable Character of All Time

“NCIS” is still one of CBS’s most popular shows after nearly two decades on the air. Because the show and its various spin-offs consistently draw millions of viewers, viewers can expect to see them on the network for the foreseeable future (per TV Line).

“NCIS,” which debuted in 2003 as a spin-off of “JAG,” follows a group of agents as they solve cr1mes involving the United States Navy and Marine Corps, ranging from murd3r to theft to other atrocities that are too disturbing to mention.

“NCIS” does not reinvent the rules of procedural cr1me dramas, but viewers can always expect mystery, action, entertainment, and a cast of strong characters to provide drama.

Of course, some characters haven’t been popular with “NCIS” fans over the years, and that sentiment isn’t limited to the villains who make life difficult for the heroes.

With that in mind, which “NCIS” character is considered the least popular by fans?

According to fans, DiNozzo is the least likable character on NCIS.

Looper polled “NCIS” fans in the United States to find out which character they find the least likable. Anthony DiNozzo Jr. (Michael Weatherly) was voted the worst by 24.43% of the 618 people polled.

However, some viewers believe Tony has aged poorly on “NCIS,” so, as surprising as the poll result may be to some long-term viewers, he has been in people’s bad books for a long time.

DiNozzo was followed by Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) with 19.90% of the vote, while Ducky (David McCallum) and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) received 18.61% and 14.24%, respectively.

12.30% of voters think Leroy Jethro Gibbs is the least likable character, but it’s possible that some of those voters are still upset about Mark Harmon’s departure from “NCIS” in 2021. To this day, Gibbs is arguably the most associated with the franchise.

Surprisingly, Abby (Pauley Perrette) received only 10.52% of the votes cast, despite being the most popular character among those polled.

This could be the most surprising and perplexing revelation from the findings. As Cheatsheet pointed out, Abby was once regarded as the worst main character in “NCIS” history, but the forensic scientist appears to have matured over time.
