Former President Jimmy Carter made a poignant entrance at the memorial service for his late wife, Rosalynn Carter. The 99-year-old, who has been under hospice care since February 2023, appeared at the service, warmly wrapped in a wheelchair, surrounded by the loving memories of Rosalynn, who passed away on November 19 at the age of 96.
On Tuesday, November 28, past and present presidents and first ladies gathered at Glenn Memorial Church in Atlanta to pay tribute to Rosalynn Carter. The event highlighted her unwavering dedication to her husband, Jimmy Carter, and to the nation.
In attendance were President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, former President Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, as well as former first ladies Melania Trump, Michelle Obama, and Laura Bush. Vice President Kamala Harris also paid her respects at the memorial service.
