NCIS<\/em>\u00a0is hitting a major TV milestone\u2014and\u00a0Wilmer Valderrama\u00a0<\/strong>has something to say about it.<\/p>\n

Ever since the hit drama premiered back in 2003, fans have loved watching the NCIS team solve crimes on CBS. With actors like\u00a0Mark Harmon<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>Michael Weatherly<\/strong>, and more coming and going, it\u2019s hard to imagine a day when\u00a0NCIS\u00a0<\/em>wouldn\u2019t be dropping new episodes.<\/p>\n

Well, longtime viewers don\u2019t need to worry about that, thanks to the surprise announcement from CBS on January 22. The\u00a0franchise\u2019s official Instagram\u00a0account announced that\u00a0NCIS\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>was renewed for season 24,\u00a0<\/strong>along with its spinoff shows\u00a0NCIS: Sydney f<\/em>or season 4 and\u00a0NCIS: Origins\u00a0<\/em>for season 3. But that\u2019s not all. Wilmer (who portrays SSA Nick Torres) commented on\u00a0his own Instagram\u00a0about\u00a0NCIS\u00a0<\/em>returning for another season \u2026 along with a reminder that new episodes are airing very soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll be back for a Season 24!!!\u00a0\"\ud83c\udf89\",\u201d he wrote alongside a clip of the cast finding out about\u00a0NCIS\u2019<\/em>\u00a0future on TV. \u201cBut first\u2026\u00a0NCIS<\/em>\u00a0returns March 3 at 8PM ET\/PT on @cbstv and streaming on @paramountplus.\u201d<\/p>\n

Naturally, seeing this news\u2014and Wilmer\u2019s reaction to it\u2014had fols excited.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s go, Congratulations to season 24!\u00a0\"\ud83d\udc4f\"\"\ud83d\udd25\"\"\u2764\ufe0f\",\u201d one person wrote in the comments. \u201cYEEEAAAHHH! LOVE THIS SHOW! LOVE THIS TEAM!!\u00a0\"\u2764\ufe0f\"\"\u2764\ufe0f\"\"\u2764\ufe0f\",\u201d another shouted. \u201cBest news! So happy\u00a0\"\ud83d\udd25\",\u201d a different follower added.<\/p>\n

The news comes just days after viewers learned\u00a0NCIS\u2019\u00a0<\/em>season 23 midseason premiere would be pushed back a week due to the annual State of the Union address on February 24, 2026, at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.<\/p>\n

So, even though we\u2019ll have to wait a little while longer, at least we know there\u2019s more in store for our favorite agents!<\/p>\n
