It could change\u00a0<em>NCIS<\/em>\u2018 future as we know it, with McGee facing the worst of it.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<section id=\"article-body\" class=\"article-body valnet-segment-RealityNetworkTv adsninja-injected-repeatable-ad-beforeend\">\n<div class=\"content-block-regular\">\n<p>McGee has been a part of the\u00a0<em>NCIS<\/em>\u00a0cast\u00a0since early on in season 1. He started as a probie, but has since become a leading senior agent. Roman\u2019s death is different.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The\u00a0<em>NCIS\u00a0<\/em>season 22 finale changes everything\u00a0<\/strong>by fundamentally changing Parker\u2019s character. He has been a calm and collected character so far, but his father\u2019s death will likely bring out a side of him that we have never seen before. It will also introduce a more serious and heavy tone to\u00a0<em>NCIS\u00a0<\/em>season 23 and the MCRT as they search for Marino.<\/p>\n<h2 For one thing,\u00a0<strong>McGee\u2019s death would align with the show\u2019s changing tone<\/strong>. A darker tone as a result of Roman\u2019s death and Parker\u2019s strengthened hatred for Marino could result in riskier behavior, all in the name of justice. McGee could be caught in the crosshairs.<\/p>\n<section class=\"emaki-custom-block emaki-custom-pullquote\" data-nosnippet=\"\">\n<div id=\"custom_block_12\" class=\"emaki-custom pullquote\">\n<div class=\"custom_block-content pullquote\">\n<p>A darker tone as a result of Roman\u2019s death and Parker\u2019s strengthened hatred for Marino could result in riskier behavior, all in the name of justice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p>Killing him would also solve\u00a0<em>NCIS<\/em>\u2018 McGee problem.\u00a0<strong>McGee\u2019s character has stagnated<\/strong>\u00a0for a while. He almost received a promotion, but lost out. He also failed to recognize LaRoche was working undercover. In recent seasons, it seems like\u00a0<em>NCIS\u00a0<\/em>just doesn\u2019t know what to do with him.
