Linda Hunt is a theater and movie actress from the United States. She was born on April 2, 1945, in Morristown, New Jersey, to Raymond Davy Hunt and Elsie Doying Hunt.<\/p>\n

Raymond worked as the vice president of Harper Fuel Oil, and Elsie taught piano. In Westport, Connecticut, she taught at the Westport School of Music and sang with the Saugatuck Congregational Church Choir.<\/p>\n

Linda grew up in Westport. Marcia, her older sister, was born five years before she was. She attended the Interlochen Arts Academy and graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago\u2019s Goodman School of Drama, now known as DePaul University.<\/p>\n

Linda\u2019s acting credits include roles in theater, cinema, television, and voice work. She was a well-known theater actress before breaking into film and television.<\/p>\n
