<\/p>\nWilmer Valderrama, star of NCIS, has opened up about being a father, revealing that he \u201cliterally\u201d cannot leave his house until his daughter says \u201cI love you.\u201d<\/p>\n
The actor, who stars in the hit procedural drama, described fatherhood as \u201cincredible,\u201d adding that his toddler daughter is \u201cso much more active\u201d and \u201clearning to run.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe now mumbles, \u2018I love you,\u2019\u201d Wilmer, 40, told People magazine. \u201cI literally can\u2019t leave the house to go to work until I hear it.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI think every parent can relate to her learning to run and then us realizing she\u2019s always wearing the wrong shoes for that kind of speed,\u201d he explained, adding, \u201cand then knowing that it\u2019s not going to end well at some point and that she\u2019s going to have to learn some hard lessons of balance.\u201d<\/p>\n
