In 1982, she won an Oscar for\u00a0<em>The Year of Living Dangerously<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Film roles in\u00a0<em>Dune<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Silverado<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>Kindergarten Cop<\/em> established her reputation for portraying strong women. Personally, Hunt married therapist Karen Kline in 2008, after decades together.<\/p>\n<p>In 2009, Hunt joined\u00a0<em>NCIS: Los Angeles<\/em>\u00a0as Hetty Lange, a fan favorite role.
