Harmon departed NCIS in season 19, with Gary Cole taking over as Agent Alden Parker. Fans are hopeful for a Gibbs comeback, but Harmon\u2019s latest role will see him in a different light.<\/p>\n<p>Harmon has been confirmed to join the cast of \u201cFreaky Friday 2\u201d for Disney, resuming his role as Ryan from the 2003 picture. The sequel, set to release in 2025, promises to bring back the beloved characters and some new faces, including Julia Butters, Manny Jacinto, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and Sophia Hammons. Nisha Ganatra will direct the film.<\/p>\n<p>Chad Michael Murray, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky, and Rosalind Chao are among the returning cast members.
