For the first time ever, the flagship series will team up with its prequel,\u00a0<em>NCIS: Origins<\/em>, in a special two-hour crossover event airing Tuesday, Nov. 11 on CBS.<\/p>\n<p>The night kicks off at 8\/7c with\u00a0<em>NCIS: Origins<\/em>, where Gibbs and his young team tackle the mysterious small-town death of a naval officer in the \u201990s. The last big event came in 2024, when\u00a0<em>NCIS<\/em>\u00a0joined forces with\u00a0<em>NCIS: Hawai\u2019i<\/em> before its cancellation.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the crossover, fans won\u2019t have to wait long for fresh episodes. The franchise returns Tuesday, Oct. 14, with Season 23 of\u00a0<em>NCIS<\/em>\u00a0at 8 pm, Season 2 of\u00a0<em>NCIS: Origins<\/em>\u00a0at 9 pm, and Season 3 of\u00a0<em>NCIS: Sydney<\/em>\u00a0at 10 pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NCIS fans, get ready for a blast from the past!
