When NCIS: Los Angeles returned for its eleventh season in the autumn of 2018, it was supposed to be business as usual.<\/p>\n

However, right before the season premiere, the authors were obliged to resolve several off-screen difficulties, such as the lack of a specific Hetty Lange, which was caused by the unexpected absence of actress Linda Hunt.<\/p>\n
According to TMZ, on July 2nd, 2018, Hunt was driving an SUV in Hollywood when she allegedly crashed with a car and then collided with another SUV while trying a left turn.<\/p>\n
Although the other drivers were only mildly injured, Hunt was brought to the hospital.<\/p>\n
The next day, she delivered the following statement to People magazine: \u201cI\u2019m relieved to inform that I\u2019m doing fine and have suffered no significant injuries. Thank you very much for your thoughtful words!\u201d<\/p>\n
I\u2019m looking forward to starting production on NCIS: Los Angeles later this summer. However, there was no evidence of Hetty when Season 10 of NCIS aired, leading fans to wonder why.<\/p>\n
Hunt then sent out an update to her followers in November 2018: \u201cI had hoped to resume playing Hetty at the beginning of the season, but I needed some extra time to recover.\u201d I\u2019m hoping to come back later in the season.\u201d<\/p>\n
