After Gibbs moved to Alaska and left in NCIS season 19, fans have been curious if he will return, whether on the prequel series or the original one. Several spinoffs have followed, including NCIS: Sydney, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, and the prequel NCIS: Origins, which stars Austin Stowell as a young Gibbs in the 1990s. NCIS: Hawaiʻi premiered in 2021 but only aired for three seasons before CBS canceled it in the spring of 2024. Fans waiting to see their favorite characters again will want to hear this update.

The NCIS Season 23 Premiere Date Has Been Announced (Along With NCIS: Origins Season 2 And NCIS: Sydney Season 3)

Deadline reported that CBS has announced its fall 2025 TV broadcast schedule and all three NCIS shows will air on Tuesday nights, beginning on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025. The franchise has hit upon a successful and fun formula that involves compelling characters, thrilling action, and big twists. While the spinoffs have been popular and it’s cool to see agents working in new locations, NCIS: Origins has been particularly interesting since viewers have always hoped to learn all there is to know about Gibbs. The prequel has an impressive 88% on Rotten Tomatoes and 71% on the Popcornmeter.

Besides watching new seasons of all three NCIS series, fans will have a fourth series to dig into: NCIS: Tony & Ziva, the upcoming spinoff about beloved couple Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo). Fans continue to wonder if Mark Harmon could appear on the show, especially since his return could be a fun and nostalgic plot point. The show will premiere on Paramount+ on September 4th, 2025.

What are the premiere dates for other popular CBS shows?

Survivor season 49: September 24th, 2025, 8 P.M. Season 22 featured all the regular cases that fans expect to see, along with some big developments in the characters’ personal lives. Jessica and Jimmy’s relationship was explored at length, and it’s hard not to assume they will still experience some challenges next season.

In an interview with TV Insider, NCIS executive producer Steven D. Binder shared a little bit about what season 23 will be like, particularly after a huge moment in the season 22 finale. Binder said:

“We’re really hoping to dive into our characters and their lives and their journeys and their pain in a way that we have not done before — or have done before, but have done it more in a back burner secondary to the crime of the week.”

NCIS fans will want to hear this latest update about the long-running CBS procedural, which tells gripping and action-packed stories about a group of special agents who…

[1

post-3169","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-blog
["GET
