Congratulations are in order for Eric Christian Olsen and Sarah Wright Olsen, who have officially become parents for a fourth time with the arrival of their newborn.<\/p>\n

The NCIS alum, 48, and his actress and podcast host wife, 41, announced in February that they would be expecting their fourth child. They\u2019re already parents to son Wyatt, 11, and daughters Esme, eight, and Winter, four.<\/p>\n

The couple shared news of the birth on social media with a first set of photos of their daughter, named Ocean Rain Olsen, born on June 17.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s here!! Ocean Rain Olsen born 6\/17 12:37am \u2013 11 pounds 4 ounces,\u201d Sarah captioned the post, which included photos of herself holding her baby girl, embracing her husband at the hospital, and a heart-melting shot of Ocean cozied up in her own monogrammed blanket.<\/p>\n

\u201cGrateful beyond words for our amazing team that helped us get her here safely during an incredibly complex birth,\u201d she added. \u201cCannot wait to share all the details of this day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sarah even revealed that she was supported through the entire birth by her friend and fellow actress Nikki Reed, who shares two children with husband Ian Somerhalder. \u201cPhotos 2 and 3 by @nikkireed who stayed with us all night to document this day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sarah last shared an update on her pregnancy journey with a photo of Eric and herself at the beach the day before Father\u2019s Day, sporting her growing bump, saying she was already 41 weeks along.<\/p>\n

The news of their pregnancy came at a difficult time for the family, who lost their home in the Los Angeles fires that ravaged much of the city in early January.<\/p>\n

Eric, Sarah and their three children, plus their dogs, were left without their home. However, they found solace in their community, and moved in with Eric\u2019s brother David Paul Olsen and his wife, his former NCIS: LA co-star Daniela Ruah.<\/p>\n

Speaking recently with Entertainment Tonight, the Matlock co-producer said he wanted to \u201credefine\u201d the word tragedy, and brand it as something more akin to an \u201cobstacle\u201d for the family-of-five.<\/p>\n

Looking back on that fateful day, he recalled: \u201cI had my wife, and I have these three beautiful children, and we\u2019ve got one coming on the way, it\u2019s a matter of perpetual pivots.\u201d<\/p>\n

Remembering a conversation he\u2019d had with Esme about facing obstacles in life, he recommended looking at life through a \u201clens of optimism,\u201d which is what he likened the news of their new family addition to.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat happens in that moment is that future as you look through those lens, that\u2019s what you start working towards, subconsciously or consciously,\u201d he added. \u201cAnd the beauty of that story is you\u2019re the hero of the story, you get to decide what lens to put on.\u201d<\/p>\n
